For some reason the minimize, maximize and close buttons disappear on top of my windows. This is so for all applications. THe buttons are not visible, but they still work. For instance, if I click in the top right corner of the application, the application will close. I don't know what causing this. Sometimes it happens just after I started my PC.
Hello guys,My issue is in the title. The buttons are simply missing. They are only missing in firefox, nowhere else. When in non-maximised windowed mode I can see a glow on top of the window where the buttons should've been.
Red glow for the close button and blue for the others.I first noticed the problem 30th of August when booting up the computer and starting Firefox after I came home from vacation. I left for vacation 20th of August where things were working fine. Something has happened in-between.(I added the menus on the top left manually, it's been like that a long time)I've tried running in safe mode, but the buttons are still hidden. It kind of looks like the aero theme from windows 7 is disabled in the main window, but not the History tab, not sure what that is about.I can still click the buttons where they should be, they're just not visible.Anyone who can help me out? Do you have the Windows title bar enabled? If not, that is likely the reason for the missing buttons.

Thank goodness, CTR extension finally got it all fixed so I can have the Windows title bar disabled, the Fx title bar used instead (with the title disabled) AND have the Windows control buttons visible. I endured Fx 38, 39. 40, 41, 42, 43 Portable with no buttons visible.
But on Fx 45.2 ESR I have the buttons and the Fx title bar (with no title) instead of the stupid Windows title bar that just adds more stuff at the top which is exactly what you don't want if you have a wide screen monitor. The buttons appear on the Fx title bar instead of on the Windows title bar that I don't have.
However, for a very long time getting rid of the Windows title bar (to get more screen real estate) made the Windows control buttons invisible. The result is a very clean, uncluttered look.
